My CINEMOOD doesn't turn on. What should I do?

This may happen due to low battery. Please plug in charging adapter, give it some time to charge, and try to turn it on again a little later.

If this did not help, please leave your CINEMOOD charging for at least 4 hours. After that try turning it on while still charging, this should help.

If CINEMOOD still doesn’t respond, contact us at support@cinemood.com with subject “No Power” and our support team will contact you as soon as possible.

How can I upload my content to CINEMOOD?

It is not possible yet. Our developers are working on this feature right now and it will become available with upcoming software updates. Until then you can always plug in your USB On-The-Go adapter and watch your content from a flash-drive.

What file formats does CINEMOOD support?

CINEMOOD recognises all main video formats, like mpeg, mov, mp3, jpg, png, gif, pdf and others. Full list of supported formats you can find below.

Supported video formats: mp4, 3gp, avi, mkv, webm, mov, 3g2, 3gpp, asf, divx, f4v, flv, h264, m2ts, m4v, mod, mpeg, mpg, mts, mxf, ogv, wmv.

Supported audio formats: mp3, aac, m4a.

Supported picture types: png, jpg, bmp, jpeg, gif.

CINEMOOD also supports pdf.

Also, for video formats we recommend to choose resolution not exceeding 720HD for the best watching experience.

Are there any format requirements for a video to play on CINEMOOD from my flash drive?

Yes, there are, CINEMOOD does have some specifications: the video should be converted to H.264 codec in MP4 container with 1024 kbit/sec bitrate and sound in MP3 with bitrate 128 kbit/s. Also, we recommend to choose video format not exceeding 720HD for the best watching experience..

Why doesn't CINEMOOD recognize my flash-drive?

The reason might be in your flash-drive format. Make sure that you use FAT or NTFS formatted flash drive with your CINEMOOD. If problem is still there, reach us at support@cinemood.com and we will do our best to help you to solve this issue.

My USB On-The-Go cable doesn't work correctly. What should I do?

Reach us at support@cinemood.com with subject “OTG cable problem” and describe your problem. We will contact you as soon as we can and try to help you find a solution.

Can I delete or rearrange preloaded content in CINEMOOD?

No, this is not possible. Sorting functions will be added in the operating system later, but there is no option to delete preloaded content.

Can I stream YouTube / Netflix / mobile phone screen to CINEMOOD?

It is not possible yet. Our developers are working on this feature right now and it will become available with upcoming software updates.

How can I control volume on my CINEMOOD?

Volume level can be changed while watching any content by pushing up and down arrows on the top control bar of the cube. For more information please see Quick Start Guide or contact us at support@cinemood.com.

How do I use CINEMOOD Smart Covers?

Just put the Smart Cover on the CINEMOOD. The projector will recognize it and automatically download new content associated with it directly into internal memory. All you need is a connection to Internet, and the best part is that you don’t need to pay extra for the cartoons included in the Smart Cover.

Can I connect my CINEMOOD with other devices via Bluetooth?

This option is not available right now, but it will become available soon with one of upcoming software updates. Stay tuned for the latest news.

Is there a UK-type (Type G) power adapter option?

Unfortunately, Type G power plug adapter is not provided at the moment. If you plan to use CINEMOOD in UK, Singapore or other countries, using Type G sockets, you will need to use an adaptor.

Where can I check the order status for my CINEMOOD?

To check the status of your order, please, contact us at support@cinemood.com with subject “My Order Status #(ORDER NUMBER)” and one of our Support Managers will contact you as soon as possible.

How long does it take to get CINEMOOD after I make an order?

Well, it depends. Orders made in January and February 2017 will be shipped in the beginning of March. Starting from March 2017 shipping will take from 3 to 5 business days depending on stock availability.

My order got stuck in Transit To Customer. Why and what should I do?

There are a few reasons of why this could happen. 1. You have not paid Import Duties&Taxes (Tariff or VAT) of your country. You will need to contact your delivery company and pay VAT, only after that your order will be shipped to you. 2. A delivery company has incomplete information of your shipping address and it can not contact you anyhow (phone number is missing, street number is incorrect etc). In this case, please, contact us ASAP at support@cinemood with the subject “Help My Order # (number of your order).

What is Duty Tax and why should I pay it?

Quoting Investopedia definition of Tariff: “A tariff is a tax imposed by government on imported goods and services. Used to restrict trade, they effectively increase the price of imported goods and services, making them more expensive to consumers.” Depending on a country, Duty Tax can be collected or not. According to our Terms of Service, Duty Tax is not included in the CINEMOOD’s price, thus when you receive your order you might be asked to pay Duty Tax (VAT or Tariff) by your customs. Some positions in my order are missing. What should I do now?

Wow, that should not have happened. Start by sending us a message at support@cinemood.com. We will do our best to help you solve this problem.

My shipping address has changed. Can you help me with this?

To update your shipping address, please, contact us at support@cinemood.com with subject “Change Shipping Address”.
Please, be aware that changes may be made only if the order has not been processed yet. If your order has already been transferred to our delivery partner, no changes may be made at this point.

How can I check or confirm my current shipping address?

I was thinking about buying CINEMOOD for a 2-year-old, but I’m thinking it may be too soon.

Toddlers love it! Families with kids 2 to 3 years old were the main buyers of the first version of our projector. It will bring magic to a kid’s room and help make the bedtime routine one of the most beloved family rituals. Bedtime stories and lullabies accompanied by projections of a starry sky will make bedrooms less dark and scary at night.

Where is the CINEMOOS App? Is it ready?

The free CINEMOOD app both iOS and Android will be available later with upcoming software updates. We will inform all our backers about its availability.

Can I charge my CINEMOOD while I watch cartoons?

Sure! The battery charges to give you 3+ hours of video playback and you have the option to charge while it’s playing; either from a power bank (like you would use with a smart phone or tablet) or with the included AC adaptor.

What are the requirements for the projection surface?

You may project onto any surface, even on the ceiling! Our first customers loved the feeling and ease of lying in bed and watching it on the ceiling overhead. You may project it on walls, doors, floor, cars, airplanes and anything else you can think of. Light exposure and distance from the surface will play a factor, but CINEMOOD’s projection distance is anywhere between 1 and 15 feet. Tip: Projecting on any dark or black surfaces won’t work because they do not reflect light well enough.
